How it works
List Extractor never changes anything in the sources files. It only reads extract and save the result to other files.

In List Extractor, the keywords that you specified are defined as the "field " in the output text file in text database format, the information that you extracted is defined as the "record" in associate with that "field". The results are saved in text database format so that they can be imported by almost any type database or contact manager application.

When do extracting, List Extractor also save the source file names where the records came from, so that every result are traceable.

When using List Extractor, firstly you will need to define a group of keywords and your target word positions. For instance, you might want to extract three words after the words, name, phone number, address, etc.

Open the List Extractor, enter your keywords and followed by the positions of the words that you want to extract.. For instance, you might set first keyword as "name" and decide to extract first three words after "name". Then you might set second keyword, for instance "phone number" and the positions of the words you need to extract. If you just want to take the third word after that keyword, then you just need to enter "3" in position number box.

When List Extractor works, firstly it will start first search session: strip web tags ( if it is a web page file), read the text from the files and search "first keyword", "second keyword" and all the key words you have defined in the setting in order until it find the second "first keyword" or "second keyword", "third keyword" and any keyword in your "keyword group" setting.

List Extractor then starts first run to take (read and copy) the words in terms of your position setting after (not including) each keywords that are being found in order in first search session.

When the first run finish, then it will start next search session and do next run continually and repeatedly until the end.
